Invicta watches – known for combining fine Swiss timekeeping with cutting-edge, signature styling for men – also offer some striking models for women. Naturally smaller than the men’s models, Invicta watches for women range from understated watches with simple leather bands to standout diver’s watches that come in a variety of colors.

The Invicta Watch Group was founded in 1873 by the Picard family of Switzerland. The watch company was held within the Picard family for almost 120 years before it was sold in 1991 to a Florida company. Today, Invicta is led by Chief Executive Officer Eyal Lalo, a third-generation watchmaker. Now Invicta manufactures watches all over the world, using the same fine watch-making techniques introduced by the Picards more than a century ago.

One of the elegantly simple models offered by Invicta is the Women’s Lupah Swiss quartz watch with its mother-of-pearl dial. Priced at under $80, this model comes in a choice of five leather stingray straps – green, light blue, mustard, pink and red. The Lupah line of watches feature a silver-tone, stainless steel rounded rectangular case, the bezel of which has a fine satin finish.

The white mother-of-pearl dial has raised markers at each hour position. There is a date window at the 6:00 position. Lupah watches are water resistant to 165 feet. Each comes with a one-year limited warranty that can be extended to five years.
As a variation on the Lupah theme, consider the Swiss quartz crocodile strap watch. For just over $72, this watch has a genuine crocodile strap in your choice of lime green, light blue, pink or black. The strap attaches with a buckle clasp. For just over $75, you could choose to sport a copperhead snake strap in fashionable hot pink, light pink, lime green or orange.

If you’re looking for a sporty style in a really bright color, consider the Women’s Lupah quartz day and date watch with its Corian strap. Available in bright red, orange and yellow Corian straps, this watch is available for just over $100. Corian is a plastic that is forged from acrylic polymer and alumina trihydrate, giving it a sturdy feel and smooth surface.

Reinforcing the Corian are stainless steel links between the lugs, letting it wrap comfortably around your wrist. The watch case looks like the rest of the Lupah collection with its domed crystal, silver-toned rounded rectangular dial and white mother-of-pearl face.

Want a watch that’s a bit sportier? Consider the $77 Invicta mid-size Pro Diver Swiss quartz watch with a mother-of-pearl face and black strap. This diver styling features a round silver-tone case with a unidirectional rotating bezel, which allows divers to track elapsed time so they don’t run out of air.

The watch’s bezel features scalloped edges and has a diver’s scale. The mother-of-pearl face is punctuated by raised markers at the 6:00, 9:00 and 12:00 positions and a magnified date window at 3:00. Highlighting its quartz mechanism, the words “Swiss Movt” are printed near the 6:00. It is water resistant to 165 feet. Finishing off this timepiece is a choice of either a black alligator embossed strap or a lizard patterned strap. Both come with quick change pins and taper to 18mm for a slim fit.

Both straps buckle with a clasp. The same watch is also available in a brown leather strap that really stands out from the white mother-of-pearl dial to give it a rich look.
For just under $70, the same mid-size Pro Diver Swiss quartz watch, described above, is available with a polyurethane rubber strap in bright green, orange and yellow. This watch has all the same features as the other models, but with a more water friendly strap.

If you want a diver’s style watch, but one that is a little dressier, consider the Invicta Reserve Women’s Russian Diver Akula Swiss quartz watch for around $290. The case is silver-tone stainless steel, and its case lugs are fashioned in 18K gold plate. The dial is a brown sunray, with chronograph sub-dials near the 2:00, 6:00 and 10:00 positions.

You have a date window at 4:00. The watch mechanism is a fine Swiss ETA G15.211 quartz chronograph movement. Bringing it all together is a brown rubber strap that tapers to 20mm. It affixes with a push button dual deployant clasp.

The Reserve Women’s Russian Diver Akula watch is also available in another look for the same price. Featuring a round black ionic-plated stainless steel case and bezel – and the same 18K case lugs – this model has a black matte dial with luminous index markers trimmed in rose-tone at every hour position. It sports a thick bandeira leather strap with crocodile-like embossing. The strap’s buckle has also been plated in 18K rose gold.
Judging from the variety offered, it’s clear that Invicta offers the same signature styling for women’s watches as it does for men.
