Environmental remediation basically implies to provide solutions to the various challenges faced by our environment. It can range from cleaning the groundwater to make it fit for drinking to preventing the excess use of automobiles in order to mitigate pollution related quandaries. Environmental remediation is not always about the will of the common people but it is also about the steps taken by the numerous government bodies. The system basically aims at making our earth a better place to live in, both for humans and animals. This can be done by reducing the waste products and making human friends with nature.
Waste product does not only imply to the waste matter, but in a broader sense, it also means reducing the usage of materials used to make arms and ammunitions. The process of cleaning the environment can be an expensive as well as inexpensive process, depending on the methods involved. The tactics involved in this system are basically divided into two groups, namely situ and in-situ process. Treating contamination without disturbing different layers of soil is known as the in-situ procedure while the vice-versa is known as the situ procedure. It is high time; we started taking up challenges to protect our mother earth.
On the other hand, Asbestos abatement is the process of eliminating the harmful asbestos from certain substances. Asbestos generally contains a fibrous amphibole, which is generally used to make fireproof articles. Inhaling asbestos in excess can cause a disease known as asbestosis and lung cancer. Asbestos is generally found in insulations Ductwork and the roofing tiles as well. Asbestos abatement might be a difficult process. Individuals who reside in homes encapsulating asbestos products generally go through a process of removing the asbestos. Thus, to a large extent, excess presence of asbestos is also harmful for the environment.
Both the above mentioned techniques are very similar in nature. Both can harm the environment in a huge way. It completely depends on the individuals as to how we handle them. The process does not only involve identifying the problems of nature but it also means that we ought to shoulder the responsibility of removing them, in order to keep our environment clean. Least to say, that it is only after an in depth analysis of Asbestos abatement and Environmental remediation that we will be able to treat them in the best manner feasible.
