Barcelona City Parks and Zoo

Barcelona is a wonderful tourist spot and there are a lot of tourist attractions in this place.

Barcelona is a wonderful tourist spot and there are a lot of tourist attractions in this place. A vacation is needed for every individual to take a break from the regular routine and monotonous life. Vacations are for relaxing and enjoying. Barcelona is an amazing place to take a vacation. If you are going to Barcelona the city parks are attractive tourist’s spots that one should not miss.

A place that was earlier known as the La Ribera is now the beautiful park called Parc de la Cintadella.

The Barcelona was conquered by the Felipe V during the eighteenth century. There they built a huge military fort. People who were living in the La Ribera were forcefully moved to Barcelona. The La Ribera place was used for the universal exhibitions of Barcelona. Now it is the city park.

This is a wonderful place to relax. One feels completely rejuvenated after taking a stroll or just by spending some time in this park. Those who are completely stressed out will find this place and the surroundings very relaxing.

This park is very close to the El Born. This park is also very near the Barceloneta beach. The Olympic village is also very close to this park. One can take a tram or the metro to reach the place. The metro L4 and the tram T4 are very close.

There is also another entrance for the park. This is the Passeig de Lluis Companys that is very close to the Arc de Triomf. There is also a metro which is of the same name.

There will be a very big and royal building on the right hand side as soon as you enter the park.

This is the Museu de Zoologia. Just next to this is the Hivernavle greenhouse. One can see a lot of plants and shrubs here. The greenhouse will be just overflowing with greenery.

Lot of people visit the park. There will be a lot of them who will be relaxing and enjoying. There will be a lot of people who will be cycling. There will also be people who will be having fun at the boat rides there.

One can also witness the Cascada Fountains which is very nearby. This fountain was designed by a person called Antoni Gaudi.

There is a Zoo which is there at the end of the park. From the zoo also one can go to the Barceloneta and the Vila Olimpica.
