In recent years, the growth of population as well as the number of opportunities has spurred the manner in which the jobs are got. Even the admissions to different colleges and courses are finding more applicants than the number of seats. There is competition in every aspect of life and therefore there is a need to be well prepared. The situation has so reached that people are nowadays required to appear in entrance exams, be it for college admissions or for jobs in different sectors.
The concept of entrance exams is beneficial in the sense that they are open to a wide variety of students with different educational backgrounds. Students from different backgrounds put in their forms for the bank PO exams which are conducted for the officers rank jobs in different public sector banks. These exams are conducted separately by different banks such as SBI, Punjab National Bank, UTI, and many more.
The exam pattern consists of quantitative aptitude and logical reasoning questions which require speed to be answered and therefore there is not much of a relationship with what the students study in their undergraduate or graduation courses. The main criterion of getting good ranks in these exams is the speed of answering and therefore a lot of students are putting in their application forms. This is escalating the competition for the jobs.
With more and more banks and their expansion into every corner of the country, the number of jobs is also increasing. But the proportional rise in number of candidates is a bit more than the number of posts. Even for the admissions into law colleges in different parts of the country, a single entrance exam is conducted. The CLAT 2012 would be conducted to select students interested in LLB and LLM programs in some select universities and law colleges in India. The exam is usually held in the month of May.
The entrance exam is open for students after the 10+2 exam for the LLB courses and those who have passed the LLB courses from the law colleges can go for the LLM courses. There are few colleges that come under the CLAT 2012 and therefore students have to compete hard for finding admissions in these colleges. The same concept goes true for the management courses in the Indian Institutes of Technology which would be through the JMET 2012. Students from different backgrounds are eligible for appearing in this entrance exam due to which the competition is more as many students are interested for pursuing management courses from the prestigious B schools of IITs.
The competition among candidates for the different entrance exams is further intensified as the ranks would decide the choice for the colleges that are there. These types of formats of entry into different colleges, makes it sure that the quality of education is well maintained and students get an equal opportunity to help them secure good careers. The opportunities are many and such entrance exams are a good path to bring these chances into the path of the deserving candidates.
