Balls Park is a prestigious new development of luxurious apartments and detached homes built around a restored and converted Grade I listed 17th century country manor. Situated in 63 acres of Hertfordshire parkland, Balls Park is a highly regarded local landmark and features on the English Heritage Register of Historic Parks and Gardens.
From initial concepts through to final designs, GQ is proud to have handled the entire marketing roll out and promotion for the first phase of the scheme, which is called The Stables. First of all, our team created the visual brand and identity, and this was then applied to brochures, videos, signage, adverts and websites – to name just a few key components of the campaign.
The second phase (The Coach House) and the third phase (The Manor) of the development are due to be
implemented next year, and once again GQ will be driving the marketing campaign forward to ensure the project is a thorough success.
Jo Ridehalgh, Marketing Manager of City & Country Group, the restoration and conservation experts behind Balls Park, had this to say:
"We were delighted with the brand identity developed by GQ for us for a new development in Hertford and have been very pleased with how this has subsequently been applied to
the brochure, press advertising and DVD."
Westcombe Homes: Design and production of a suite of brochures
With over 35 years of experience, Westcombe Homes has grown to become one of London's leading property developers. Specialising in the creation of mixed-use schemes throughout the capital, one of their current projects is the conversion of an old BT building situated in the heart of High Holborn opposite the Chancery Lane London Underground station. The new scheme includes the creation of nine luxury residential flats, as well as commercial offices and retail units.
Westcombe Homes tasked GQ with the challenge of producing a suite of property brochures designed to help promote and sell the different aspects of the development.
First of all, the team at GQ created extensive CGI for the project, so potential customers could visualise how the scheme would come to life. The CGI illustrations where then incorporated into the cover designs of the brochures. We also introduced a unique colour strip to each design, so every brochure in the suite was easily identifiable.
A clean and functional layout, including maps and floor plans, was then used on the interior brochure pages. This gave the designs a contemporary and highly professional image, perfectly suited to the target audience.
The Managing Director at GQ said 'We’ve been making a positive difference to our clients’ businesses for over 15 years. And in that time we’ve learnt that although you can never afford to stand still, there are certain qualities and principles that should never change. At the foundation of our company are integrity, pride, passion, customer service and no little skill. If that sounds like we’re talking a bit too much about ourselves, it’s only because we know these are the things that also matter to you.'
