Southwest Homes is strictly a Custom Home Builder in that we do not build homes to be sold and do not have set plans that you have to choose from. We will design and build your home the way you want it, where you want it.We have over 700 plans that we have built over the years and you are welcome to come to our office and review them to find what you like or to get ideas.We have hundreds of plans at our office that we have built over the years that you can look through for ideas. Typically our customers come to us with an idea about a plan - or- with a sketch of a plan out of a plan book or magazine - or - with a sketch from the internet - or - sometimes with a full blueprint.Occasionally a customer will want to see how much mortgage he can qualify for before choosing a home plan, in which case, we will take a credit application and show you examples of plans that are within your budget. Bring or email us your plan, sketch or idea about what you want to build and we will ask you questions about how you want the home to be finished out. We will ask you questions about such things as cabinets, countertops, siding, floor cover, bath and light fixtures, infrastructure (septic, well, water and electrical sources, etc.), lot payoff, and from what you tell us, we'll prepare a proposal for you giving you a price to build your project and 4-5 pages of information as to what is included in the price. We do not charge to give you a proposal - Our estimates are FREE!
