World of Warcraft can be extremely addicting. But don't lose hope, there are some helpful ways to break your addiction.

The definition of "addiction" is the state of being enslaved by something that physically
or psychologically habit-forming, to such an extent that to discontinue the habit or
pracgtive can lead to severe trauma. Basically, you love something so much that you have
developed a habit of using it to such an extent that not doing so leaves you nervous or
grumpy while becoming disinterested in other areas of life.
Some people believe that War of Warcraft and other online gaming systems are highly
addictive. If you feel you have become addicted to World of warcraft, here are some ways
to break the addiction. Firstly, you will need to admit you have a problem. This may be
very difficult, but accepting that World of Warcraft has taken over your life is the
initial step to overcoming your addiction.
Imagine the day that you first bought the game. If you knew everything that you know now,
would you still have bought it? Knowing that you are now addicted, you must make the
decision to either keep playing or quit completely.
If you have decided to quit, you will need to find out what has caused your addiction in
the first place. Ask yourself what exactly made World of Warcraft so appealing to you.
You will need to know exactly what aspects of the game lured you to keep playing.
Sometimes it is the competitive nature of the game. It could also be an escape from
reality. Whatever it is, you will need to try and replace World of Warcraft with
happiness that can be found in every day life. You should do other things that you enjoy.
Perhaps take a martial arts class. This would allow you to learn some fighting skills of
your own while keping your body in shape.You could also read. Novels are a healthy for of
escapism. Excitement and adventure can be found in most books. Reading is also a great
way to improve other skills such as critical thinking and vocabulary.
Although this technique is risky, you can try to burn yourself out by finding way to
cheat at World of Warcraft. Some say that if you cheat your way through the entire game
in an hour you will get burnt out and the game will lose its luster. You will lose the
fascination of the game when you see how it is all a simulation with artificial rules.
Returning to the official World of Warcraft game after having played around with
administrator rights might make you feel like your spinning on a hamster wheel.
Quitting as a joint effort is another great technique to break your addiction. Many
people play World of Warcraft simply because their friends play it. Online gaming has
become an enjoyable way to spend time with friends. You can try to convince your friends
to stop playing and go out into the real world together. You can schedule other
activities with them. Ask your friends to play basketball or go out to eat. The important
thing is to stay outside of your home and away from your computer. You should be honest
with your friends and family and ask them to help you stay on track. If you can't trust
yourself not to play World of Warcraft then you must trust someone else to keep you on
track.They might even be able to set parental controls so that you have a difficult time
accessing the game.
If all other options fail, sell you World of Warcraft account. There are many players out
there willing to pay for an existing account. This is a great way to stop playing because
then someone else has your character and you can no longer control it. This might be the
best way to quit once and for all.
