Thus the painter illustrates the same he observes in his day to day affairs iing; what he intends with his art is either to criticize the indecency or admire the beauty of human deeds and their dealings. Having said this, the scope of painting should not be confined in limited setting. The abstract paintings also exist to illustrate intangible thoughts, beliefs, ideas, opinions and even superstitions.
Then a question arises that what purpose a painter pursues through his abstract paintings. To externalize his inner inertia, longing, craving, sense of perfection, desire, or any abstract feeling in the form painting, is the main objective of a painter. Psychologically, every person has in his mind an opposite sex or, in simple words, the hidden desire for something not achieved. This is to mean that abstract paintings correspond to the painters’ inner longings that remain unsatisfied for a long time. It is therefore a male painter finds it more pleasurable in portraying females and vice versa.
Normally, abstract paintings are considered to be the most enigmatic paintings for they consist of such complicate layers of colours and a layman cannot understand the actual message of the painter. He regards such paintings as colours and lines on the map. However, it is yet a grounded fact that abstract paintings do convey a blurred picture that even an experienced painter may not decipher easily. In such situations the only authority to explain the painting is the painter himself; he is the man who externalized his blurred and intricate feelings in the form of abstract paintings. Terming these paintings as more difficult ones than concrete ones would not be without justification.
