The fauna consists of tiger, panther, leopard, gaur, chausingha, nilgai, chinkara, sloth bear, bear, wild boar, and a variety of birds.

Khajuraho: Most visited tourist destinations in Madhya Pradesh is Khajuraho,The Fascinating Temples of Love in India. Temples of Khajuraho are well famous in the world for its erotic Sculptures. An annual treat for the connoisseurs of Indian Classical Dances comes at Khajuraho for a week during February or March.

Orchha: Orchha has a series of temples that date back to 17th century. This place is famous for Raja Ram Temple,Orchha Palace, Chhatris and various other historical monuments. Orchha today is a sleepy little hamlet but it was once the capital city of the mighty Bundelkhand Empire.

Bhimbetka: Bimbetka caves are one of the oldest known human habitations, dating back to some 10,000 years ago. The rocks here are estimated from the time when the area was probably ocean and the curved formation of rocks is said to be formed by the hitting of sea waves.
