Goa is a state which holds a surprise for almost everyone. The state of carnivals, beaches, palms that sway to the tapping waves and the blowing winds, hospitable locales, natural beauty, scenic landscape and exotic surroundings.

Goa has acquired a must visit place in India status since its revelation to the outer world by the early backpackers and hippie who arrived in early seventies and late sixties. Often considered synonymous with rave parties, marijuana, pulsating on-the-beach festivals, Goa has emerged one of the hottest destinations among the young travelers domestic and foreign both.

The tiniest state in entire India, Goa used to be a Portuguese colony and its current state speaks of the Portuguese influence.
