Bathrooms should be as bright as possible. So follow these tips to add some brightness to your bathroom.
Cheap Bathrooms should have maximum lighting to make it more comfortable and cosy to use. Without sufficient lighting, a bathroom can look and feel rather depressing. So use these tips for a brighter looking bathroom.

1. If your existing light fixture is a three light one, you could change it into a 5 or 7 light fixture to provide sufficient lighting to your cheap bathrooms.

Similarly, if the light fixture accommodates it, you can use a light bulb of higher wattage. Adding additional light fixtures or installing recessed lighting is also an option to consider for brightening your bathroom.

2. If you can’t make any changes to your existing lighting, replace it with a fixture that provides more light. You could choose fixtures that match your style. Even changing glass globes in existing fixtures from frosted to clear gives your cheap bathrooms a fresh look.

3. Some people don’t actually like having the tiles and walls of the bathroom filled with electrical outlets. If you are one of them, it would be better to have electrical outlets installed in the wall cabinets. This gets rid of dangling cords and appliances.

4. To make it easier for you to wander into cheap bathrooms, install lighted switches. This way you will not have any problems looking for the switch at night.

5. Installing wall scones on either side of the mirror provides lots of light to your bedroom. If you don’t have sufficient wall space for the wall scones, you could always have electrical holes drilled through the mirror.

When you install wall scones in cheap bathrooms, make sure that the light bulbs are at eye level and that you have an electrical point nearby to connect the wall scones. This is because with lights at the front and sides, there is minimum chance of any shadows forming by your chin, brow and nose.

It is always better to experiment to get the best position for the fixture before hang the wall scones. You could also consider fixing the scones above the mirror. These fixtures come with open diffusers or are completely enclosed and should be mounted with its open end up or down to provide for better design flexibility.

6. If there is sufficient space on your bathroom vanity top, and you have an electrical outlet nearby, you could install a small lamp on it. However, make sure that the light is placed at a distance from any water sources. This light will not only add illumination but also a warm charm to the room.

7. Another lighting option you have for your cheap bathrooms are recessed lights. These lighting blends into the architecture and has to be placed as close to the mirror plane as possible.

It is better to use a minimum of two fixtures which have to be spaced so that the light of one works with the light of the other fixture. You could also use recessed lighting to supplement other fixtures that don’t actually cast much light.

Use your light fixtures wisely, and with these tips and you will be able to light up your cheap bathrooms.
