Blackrock Foundry will be released on Warlords of Draenor Feb 3rd. New raid means new challenge. It is time to prepare for the war. Each encounter will have a thorough walkthrough of the boss, its abilities, and how to tackle it on every raid difficulty level. Blackrock Foundry opens on Normal and Heroic difficulties on Tuesday, February 3. Here are 4 things you need to know before Blackrock Foundry released, which are Reserve Seal of Tempered Fate, Gear Drops, Bosses and New Mount. 1. Reserve Seal of Tempered Fate in Advance. From Jan, you guys should reserve Seal of Tempered Fate for using in Blackrock Foundry. For those guilds which explore the raids quickly, Seal of Tempered Fate will help them clear both Normal and Heroic version of Blackrock Foundry in a week.
2. Gear Drops. Blackrock Foundry has 4 zones. Each of the former 3 zones has 3 bosses. And Blast Furnace, Kromog, Flamebender Ka’graz, Operator Thogar, Iron Maindens and Blackhand will drop Tier 17 sets. The new raid will drop 4 levels of Tier 17 sets. The LFR version drops a set of unique gears. The normal and heroic version’s Tier 17 utilize same models but different colors, and their T17 models are different with the Mythic version. Like Highmaul, all Tier 17 gears will have the chance to get Warforged by 6 and Additional Properties. The minions in BF will also drop gears, but don’t know which piece it is. However, it couldn’t be weapon or accessory.
3. Bosses. In Blackrock Foundry, we will encounter the most Orc in the World of Warcraft history, even though you don’t know WoW story. He is Blackhand, who had killed amount of explorer in UBRS in old world. Except for Blackhand, the other one of our old friends is Gruul who lived in Gruul’s Lair in TBC and drops Dragonspine Trophy. But this time, he drops Meaty Dragonspine Trophy. In addition to the 2 familiar bosses, there are various Bosses (Orc-based) in Blackrock Foundry. And according the experience in PTR, these boss battles are different with the previous expansion. They are more interesting and exciting.
4. First Raid-drop Mount - Ironhoof Destroyer. If you are power enough to kill Blackhand in the Mythic Blackrock Foundry, you will 100% get Ironhoof Destroyer mount.
Besides, Each Highmaul boss, as well as Blackrock Foundry bosses, has a unique achievement that counts towards Glory of the Draenor Raider. This rewards Gorestrider Gronnling.
