On your first date it’s better to be prepared for those unexpected blows.
In order to avoid any kind of embarrassment or uncomfortable situations on your first date it’s better to be prepared for those unexpected blows. Moreover, it is well said – Precaution is better than cure!

When you are on your First date or even while going out remember to keep these must-haves in your handbag to be safe.

1. Safety pins: You never know when your blowse or button might pop off all of a sudden and you need to instantly stitch something.

2. Mobile phone: Vital thing to keep with you to keep in touch with others or call a cab.

3. Cash/Credit Cards: Cash can bring you back home if needed. So never step out without money in your pocket.

4. Sunglasses: If you are on your date during the day, this will protect you from piercing sunrays and prove soothing to eyes in order to avoid headaches.

5. Lip protection: Lip stick, lip gloss, lip balm or chap stick is must-have as this can keep you ready for a whole day long even if any other make-up is missing or fading. You can just freshen-up your lips and keep going.

6. Fragrance: Keep a mini-perfume, deodorant wipes or body spray to keep you smelling good. Perfume can fade. You don’t want to smell like the dinner you’ve just both eaten, make a discreet visit to the Ladies room and refresh. Remember not to overdo it though.

7. Comb/Brush/Pony-tail holder/Clip: On a long evening or an adventure date you can pull your hair back to be more comfortable. If not then also a little brushing is always required to refresh your look.

8. Band Aids: Every woman knows it is absolutely vital to ensure Band Aids are in your purse. There is nothing worse than feeling uncomfortable with those blisters rubbing.

9. Mouth Freshener: Eating, drinking coffee, drinking- all of these can leave a nasty residue in your mouth- you don’t want to taste like regurgitated food. So eat a chewing gum or use some mouth freshener.

10. A compact mirror: I think I do not need to explain why!

11. Pen & Notepad: Just in case you need to jot down immediately. Crazy driver hit and run? Write the license plate number down as well as a description of the car. Tall, dark and handsome wants to exchange digits? You are being given an address or directions to the dating venue.
