I was born in the beautiful county of Cornwall, England into an hotel owning family in St Ives. Travel and hospitality is in my blood!
My particular love of South Africa has come about because my Aunt moved there back in the early '70's. As a young girl, receiving the beautiful postcards showing sunshine, sand and sea, it painted the picture of a life lived at a different pace and I couldn't wait to visit!
I finally managed to make that first visit in the early '80's and have been captivated ever since.
Australia and the Costa Brava Spain are also dear to my heart - Australia for the wonderful sunshine, excitement, variety and people. The Costa Brava Spain I love for the time spent living there and it's similarity to Cornwall, the home of my birth.
I love when I can share with others my passion for travel - the spectacular places we see and the wonderful people we meet, that enrich all of our lives, even if we are only sitting in our own chairs in front of the fire!
