What is meant by scaphoid fracture of the wrist?
The wrist has been composed with dual long bones which include radius & the ulna & there are 8 carpel bones. Out of them, one of the bones is scaphoid bone which has been juxtaposed in dual rows of at least 4 bones. These are said to make their presence amidst the metacarpels & the radius of the ulna wherein, the scaphoid bone is also termed as anatomical snuff box which rests on the base of the thumb.
