Rubber Tires to Dunlop
Dunlop has transformed considerably as it commenced in 1989. By reviewing the starts in car tires as a consequence of Bob Dunlop’s air tire patent it’s grown, split and distributed evenly in a number of different instructions. Not least, the design and style and growth of probably the most adored style and sportswear apparel, like the Environmentally friendly Pen coaches as well as iconic Dunlop bags.

Two synthetic rubber plants
THE seeds planted at Jurong Island for synthetic rubber have germinated. Two more investors, Sumitomo Chemical and Asahi Kasei Chemical, are setting up their latest S-SBR plants there - believed to cost hundreds of millions of dollars each - joining Germany's Lanxess which is building a 400 million euros (S$712 million) butyl rubber facility on the island and also considering a second plant for Nd-PBR there.
