Prepare yourself, both physically and mentally can help you to get down to work ready, willing and able to perform your duties.
Going back to work from vacation should be difficult may cause a psychological gap. We have to adjust ourselves to the thought of returning to the day-to-day work routine. If you are also dreading the transition from relaxing vacation to stressful workweek, we have some tips for you to get back to work with fewer unwillingness.

1.Create a buffer between the main part of your holiday and the return to work.
If you have gone away for some exciting holiday destinations, you’d better try to allow one day back at home before returning to work. Otherwise the transition from sun-kissed beach to open-plan office may be particularly jarring. Having a day at home will also enable you to get over any jet lag and you can get used to the idea that you are going back to work.

2.Reflect on the great things that you’ve done whilst on holiday. You can list all the achievements from your holiday which will help you to accept that you’ve made the most your time off. This, in turn, will make it easier to accept that it’s time to get back to what pays the bills.

Often, the times that we find it hardest to readjust to work is when we know that we haven’t really made the most of your break and have regrets that the time has run out to do the things that we said we’d do.

3.Make a list of things to achieve at work or life, both short term and long term. There’s nothing like a positive attitude to make the transition easier.

4.Return to work with new, happy memories.
You can create a screen saver of the best photos in your holiday, because seeing these photos from time to time will re-energize you. Though clear up your minds with the holidays can help you focus on work, but the happy memories can give you energy to work. Just don’t immersed yourself in the memories and not focus on work. It will be dangerous.

5. Get your concentration back.
A simple way to get your concentration is to try to read upside down. Take one newspaper, turn it upside down and start to read. It works, because if you want to read more, you have to focus.

6. Check your emails, and thinning your emails before you arrive back in the office. For many of us the main curse of returning to work is arriving to an in-box crammed with e-mails. Take 30 minutes and review all the items that are sitting in your email box the day before you're due to return to work. For those people who can access their work e-mails from home, it might be worth devoting an hour or so the previous night to reading some of your backlog of e-mails. Okay, this is slightly eating into the last hours of your holiday but it may be worth it to be able to hit the ground running on the first day back.

Returning to work after holiday can be a letdown. But if you prepare yourself, both physically and mentally can help you to get down to work ready, willing and able to perform your duties.
