Museum of the 'Casal de Cultura' – is situated in an old house built in the year 1740. It contains a hall for exhibiting various items of value and a Library. This museum houses antique items, works of art and furniture.
Sports and Entertainment
It is a fascinating experience to walk around the town. You can see houses that were built in the 14th century and at the same time you can see a number of modern buildings in the town. These include Saint Bartholomew church situated in the main square, the bank nearby and houses built in the 'Gran Via'.
In months of winter, autumn and spring you will enjoy walking along the seashore and mountains. You will find various paths of cobble stone in the mountains. These were constructed and used by the travelers going between the two towns. The charcoal burners used in yesteryears by travelers can still be seen in the mountain range.
Economy and Business
The economy of this town is mainly dependent on foreign residents and tourism; this complements the income from sale of agricultural products – olive and citrus. However the prices of these products have reduced, thereby affecting the economy.
