The ski equipment alone takes up a lot of space and you have to mind for the ski clothing too. What a baggage you might say, don’t despair, just invest in a quality bag and compartmentalize those ski clothing then you are ready for your much awaited ski vacation.

Ideally you will need several pairs of clean innerwear. Multiple base layers with wicking technology will save space in your luggage compare to the non-wicking fiber. Due to the high-adrenaline nature of skiing, sweat is inevitable, that is why womens ski apparel with wicking technology is recommended and most preferred. For the base layer a regular sweater or sweatshirt or two per day will be enough, don’t forget mitten and glove and goggles too and as for the outer later, go for ski pants and ski jacket. Don’t forget to bring a reliable and comfortable ski boots and a lighter one for casual snow walking.

Other’s who don’t want to be bothered by carrying heavy baggage chooses to rent ski equipment at the ski resort. Aside from the burden of heavy baggage, the high plane baggage fare is another reason why skiers prefer to rent then bring their own ski gears. But little did they know they the fare price is cheaper than renting ski gear and equipments. But this issue is depends actually on the preference of the skier. One main advantage though of bringing your own ski equipment is that you can be sure with regards to safety of your own skis and poles.

As much as you give outmost importance to womens ski apparel and ski gears, I guess it is only right that skier will not overlook personal care necessities. Though the temperature maybe cold, but the sun’s rays during ski season can pose danger to your skin, the biting cold can dry up your lips too. It is recommended to include sunscreen, heavy duty moisturizing lotion, and protective lip balm. If traveling by plane an ounce tube of each will be enough and place them in a one quart Ziploc bag for security screening.
