Membrane structure is a successful combination of the high strength teflon film material and the tensioning system, which create a spatial structure with certain stiffness; it is a kind of high-tech engineering with architecture, structural mechanics, chemical industry and materials science. Except for the entire traditional function requirement, membrane structure still have the following significant advantages:

1. Economic benefits The cost of membrane structure is only 1/3 to 1/2 of the traditional ones. Due to the membrane has a certain transmission rate, and then there will be a reduction of lighting intensity and duration during the day, thus it will be a great energy conservation, meanwhile the night illumination transmission can create a gorgeous night landscape which may achieve excellent advertising effect.

2. Short construction period Compared with the traditional construction method, the construction period of membrane structure can be shortened by half at least, which means general items can be completed in two month without affecting other engineering construction progress during the construction period.

3. Large span Membrane material always use very light material which can overcome all the construction difficulties caused by traditional structures when implementing on large span (no support) constructions, and at the same time, it can create an unobstructed visual space which can increase the efficient use of PTFE rod.

4. Unique form Its unique form always presents an irregular changing and attractive visual effect, and the application scope is not limited to sports or exhibition building and also expands to housing and landscape architecture and other aspects.

5. Self-cleaning Membrane structure adopts materials coated with a Ptfe film, which allows its good self-cleaning effect. It can take advantage of the rain to ensure a clean appearance, and meanwhile permits a long service life.
