It is however known as Hero Honda CBZ Xtreme. It is spelled as ‘Xtreme’ as alphabet “e” is not used in the starting of the “extreme” word. CBZ Xtreme is basically a successor of notable bike called as Hero Honda CBZ. It is a first bike of India with four stroke engine and is tagged as sports bike. Hero Honda CBZ was launched during the year 1999 in market. Very soon this bike gets huge success because of large fan follower and fan base created by it. Hero Honda thought to launch an upgraded and better version of CBZ in the year 2007 and the result is Hero Honda CBZ Xtreme. There are also little similarities between both CBZ Xtreme and CBZ normal. In the Xtreme version of CBZ torque is present while it is missing in the normal version. The feature of this Xtreme model of CBZ is the presence of rear grip bars which are available only this bike of the country. It is also consist of indicator lights which is a sort of new thing in similar type of bikes. <p>Fuel holding capacity of CBZ Xtreme is 12.3 liters usable and 1.5 liters reserve. Displacement capacity of engine is 149.2 cc and engine power is 11KW or 14.4 hp. It consists of 5 gears. Torque of CBZ Xtreme is 12.80 N-m @ 8500 rpm. It contains single air cooled cylinder engine. 4 stroke OHC engine type is used in this bike. CBZ Xtreme provides rear drum brake facility of 130 mm and front break facility of 240 mm. there is a facility of power disk on front brake. It gives acceleration of 0 to 60 km/hr in 5.6 seconds.
