On the 99th episode, with only one episode between us and the 100th episode anniversary of the show, the show was somehow filled with clunky storylines, but there was a plot at the end that paid off, if you want to find out more, keep on reading.
We are going to discuss several points about plots that happened during this episode, let’s start with the one who wrote Louis’s vows, Dan, who also has a book to write, but he is lacking a source of inspiration. And he finds out that that they want a sequel for his first book, but sadly for him, he already wanted to write, but all of his products were bad, which led to him breaking up with Serena, who is actually in love with him, but for him, he is only fake dating her and doesn’t have a clue about her feelings. But little did he know that Serena is lying to him concerning Blair’s need for them, so they can still be together, that’s why is was shocking for Blair when she figured out that Dan is the one behind Louis’s Vows.
Now onto another couple, Nate and Serena, who are the most scheming couple in the show, as the SMS between Nate and Gossip girl continues, her demands started to grow harder for him, as in order for him to get the information he needed about the accident, he is asked not to publish anything on the blog that belongs to Serena. And after Serena publishes it, a series of chain reactions started, starting from Nate having doubts about Tripp’s involvement in the accident, onto the sudden change of heart for Serena as she is seen working with Tripp against Nate. But fortunately for Nate, that all of this was carefully schemed by both of them, Nate and Serena once again plan everything carefully, as they were on the same team during the whole time to bring down Tripp and make him confess of him being involved in the accident.
And yes, he did confess, but he blamed his grandfather for being so tough and that he created a very dangerous environment for the boys, which led to Tripp acting this way, and this confession seemed to affect Nate as he decided to cut himself away from his family. We all hope that this new character of his lasts, it is much better.
And lastly, onto Blair’s Bachelorette party, of course it’s not a normal party, it’s a wild party filled with scheming and plot, as Beatrice teaming up with the Priest from Monaco, plan to ruin Blair’s day, as they plan to get her way too intoxicated in order to make her spill her beans about her feelings towards Chuck, but lucky Blair, if you can call what happened luck, she got arrested for smoking weed and got thrown in jail. And then Chuck gets blamed for the mess as he is manipulated by the priest to crash the party.
To sum things up, it was a fine episode, filled with some confusing moments and schemes, and with the 100th episode coming our way, we hope more twists and turns are due.
